Finally made my own cozy fleece jacket! I started with #jalie2795 and added zippers to the pocket. I extended the length to finish with Lycra binding instead of cuffs and waistband.
The Sewing Room Supervisor inspects all blocks as they arrive in the mail from a cat block quilt swap in which I’m participating. He deemed this one to smell AMAZING!! And attempted to run away with.
Over 3 years later and still wearing the first sweater I crocheted for myself. It’s far from perfect, but warm and cozy for my basement work from home office on a wet rainy day.
Before and After. Why did I wait so long to make a chair slip cover?!?
I knit my first thing with pockets! I sized down the Cliffside Cardigan by @twoofwands for the picky 8 year old. She won’t pose for pictures, but she is happy to wear her new house “coat”. I call that a win!
School literacy day and from the trove of costumes the choices were a Talking Toilet from Captain Underpants and a Ravenclaw student
