Pattern Anniversary

A year ago I made my first version of the Onbuhimo Toddler Carrier! Being a backcountry hiker, I was skeptical that a carrier without a waistband could be comfortable as generally weight is transferred to the hips. I designed and made the first buckle onbuhimo to prove the point. Instead I found the perfect comfortable and packable toddler carrier!

I love to sew and quilt! And I love helping other people realize their own potential. The patterns and tutorials I’ve created were grown from patterns I made to share with friends and information I accumulated to share in various parenting communities. My interests are constantly changing as my children grow. At each stage I learn new things and love to then share that information. I’m a dabbler and love to constantly create new things. These patterns show that journey and will enable you to create and preserve your own memories.
